Tanah Abang TOD area is a key part of Jakarta’s central district. The presence of mass transportation facilities such as the Commuter Line, Transjakarta buses, and planned MRT and LRT lines enhances Tanah Abang’s role as a hub for commerce and transit in Jakarta. The area’s planning focuses on providing supportive infrastructure for movement, including transit spaces and pedestrian-friendly environments that are inclusive and accommodating for cyclists. The project aims to establish the Tanah Abang Transit-Oriented Development as a nationally significant business district supported by seamless integration and transfer between various modes of transportation. It also seeks to foster a diverse community life and promote vibrant, active public spaces within an integrated transit development framework.
